Warlords of Anglo Saxon Mercia
Warlords of Mercia aggressively made the Kingdom the dominant power of Anglo Saxon England.
The first to appear in written records was King Pends who was responsible for the deaths of five other Anglo Saxon Kings before he was killed in a battle against the Northumbrian's in AD655. After Penda's death Mercia continued to dominate the English Midlands.
