One of the glories of Birmingham’s Shakespeare Library is that it boasts holdings in no less than 93 languages. In this film, Professor Tobias Döring of Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich addresses Birmingham’s German Shakespeare Freunde in their own language, symbolically exemplifying that this city’s Shakespeare Library for everybody very much seeks to include people who speak languages other than English.
